Joe Collins first goal secures win

Joe Collins scored his first First team goal to secure all three points aginst high flyers Westbrook

Bramham were quick of the mark against the team currently sitting in third spot in the division. The home team set the early pace and with Matty Dodsworth and Paul Smith dominating the midfield it was no surprise when Jason Wright added to his 13 goals to give bramham an early leed on 12 minutes. Chance after chance was created but it took until the 35th minute and with a slice of good look that John Carrier blocked a clearance from the Westbrook Keeper which rebounded back into the net to give Bramham a 2-0 half time leed

But as has happened before this season a two goal leed is never enough. Influential defender Marcus Johnson went off injured and Westbrook made the home team pay with 2 x scrappy goals to bring the scores level at 2-2.

Bramham could have feared the worst and it was only a supperb second half display from goalkeeper Mark Tasker that kept the scores level.  But as time was ticking away a lovely move and nice flick on from Matty Fisher allowed Substitute Joe Collins sight of goal who unleashed an unstoppable rockett high into the roof of the net. Bramham may have got away with this one but overall deserved the three points.

Probably Bramhams best result of the season, the back four looked solid,  the midfield four worked none stop and Jason Wright probably turned in his best game of the season.

Bramham's squad is looking healthier each week especially with the recent signing of Marcus Johnson to give additional strength to the back four
