Firsts Open with a stunning win

Bramham 5 Harlow Hill 1 

Bramham opened their premier Division campaign with a stunning 5-1 win against a much improved Harlow Hill outfit.

Bramham should have gone in at half time 3-0 up but a very strange penalty decission on the stroke of half time gave the visitors some hope. However playing against the wind in the second half Bramham proved that they can also defend and added 2 further goals to make the score reflect their dominance of this match.

3 goals from Clyde Wijnhard and 2 from Andy Linyard gave Bramham the perfect start to what we hope will be a very succesful season.

The squad has been much improved to the extent that Jason Wright and Richard Milner could only make the bench today, and with Phil Alker, Barry Dodsworth & Rich Robinson to be added to the squad for Tuesdays home match with Pannel Sports The manager has some tough decisions to make!!

Outstanding displays from Brett Hudson, Andy Linyard, Matty Dodsworth, Matty Fisher, Paul Bowden, & Clyde Wijnhard. But todays man of the match was Centre half, Chris Glennard, a real find with a top attitude.
