KS2 Sports Hall Athletics

On Monday 11th November 2013 the Boroughbridge Sport Cluster hosted their Sports Hall Athletics competition.
The event saw 5 schools take part; Green Hammerton, Roecliffe, Marton Cum Grafton, Nun Monkton and Great Ouseburn.
The competition was very exciting as we had over 150 children take part in the event. The children demonstrated excellent enthusiasm and team work as they competed in the various athletics disiplines.
At the end of the competition we had 4 teams within 7 points of each other. However Great Ouseburn had leaped ahead and came out overall victors.
Well done to all competitors and a big good luck to Great Ouseburn who will go onto represent the cluster at Level 2 competition after the New Year!
