Quad Kids

Quad kids took place this year on Wednesday 25th September. Overall we had just over 50 children from Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 complete the event.
Quad kids involves the children taking part in 4 events: 400m run, 50m sprint, Rocket throw and finally the standing long jump.
All the children who took part were fantastic at the events and therefore the results were very close. The team from Roecliffe won the overall team competition. Followed closely by a mixed team from Long Marston, Boroughbridge and Nun Monkton, and Green Hammerton finishing in third place overall.
In addition to this we monitered the highest placing children at the event with the top three children finishing from the following schools.
Top 3 finishing children:
1st: Green Hammerton
2nd: Roecliffe
3rd: Nun Monkton
Well done to these children as it is a fantastric achievement to have finished with such good results.
