May 2014: message from Greater Portmore:

All is well at Greater Portmore! We are excited to be involved in this project linking Special Schools here in Jamaica with Special Schools in Bimringham.

Staff and students are busy currently with end of year tests and preparation with parents to ensure that the transfer exercises go smoothly for September as the older students prepare to move on to Windsor Special School in Spanish Town or to other local schools. Trips and excursions are being planned as highlights of the year.

The team of 4 boys who ran the relay at the Primary Schools Championship did fantastically well and won Silver medals, and the performance at the JCDC Festival Competition also saw the Greater Portmore Dub Poetry group gain a Silver award for their fabulous rendition of "Sleepless Nights".
