Where The Wild Things Are….News From Lotte …...Rwanda?.....

Where The Wild Things Are…

This morning, Mike looked out the window and said…..”Ducks”.  I thought he meant our neighbour’s ducks which have been known to visit our pond, but no, they were a pair of wild Mallards - who wandered about a bit, then settled down to preen and make themselves very much at home in the meadow.

We made a pond, and at last, the wild ducks have noticed it!

I hope they come back – some of the taddies had spread out further into the pond from their newly hatched clumps, so they should be OK.  The beasties will find a balance, as they do.
