Reflections….
The Ness
Needs to rest.
What’s been found
Has been found
And it’s for us
To learn the lessons.
I can see the site
Tarpaulins & tyres
Then, the soil returned
Covered over
Carefully
As it was before.
Brodgar Ring
I’m drawn to
Time & time again
The Ness
Has ceased to speak
To me.
The Old Folk are gone
The New Folk
Are working
Uncovering & revealing
The knowledge
That was there.
It will be a
Green mound again
A gentle green mound
Where we can stand
And sit
And connect.
