O. 2.00PM St Mary’s College v Guisborough FC WEDNESDAY 15th AUGUST 2012 DIVISION TWO: K.O. 6.30PM Thirsk Falcons v Northallerton Town REVIEW The Teesside Football League who last season were awarded the Bronze Respect Award, have also been accepted into the National League System as a level 7B League, this means in the likelihood of any Club winning the First Division Championship, and they meet the strict ground grading’s of the Second Division of the Northern League, they could apply for membership of that League. The League starts the new season with the Annual Madden Trophy which is usually between First Division League Champions and MacMillan Bowl Winners, but as the team that holds both these trophies is no longer a member of the league (Richmond Town) after being accepted into the Wearside League, the match will be between League Runners-up Whinny Banks YCC and MacMillan Bowl finalist Richmond Mavericks at New Marske FC, there will only be two first division matches and one second division match and for the first time in twenty-four seasons, there were no evening matches scheduled, although Thirsk Falcons asked Northallerton Town to bring their match forward from the first Saturday in September. A full fixture programme will start the following week the 18th with three new clubs, Bedale FC, Lingdale and Thirsk Falcons in the second division, Darlington Rugby Club and Redcar Athletic who were both promoted, will start in the first division. Gutted i'll be missing out on coughing my lungs up on 1 of Jonno's warm up sessions. Who's involved with what team this season? What i really mean is who do i have to pay to get a game this year??? I might even promise this one to be my last!!! On that bombshell i shall depart. Goal A - Graham Caygill v Kirby Malzeard away ; received the ball from a throw , turned his man , beat 2 more for pace and hit his shot across the keeper into the far corner Goal B - Matty Allison v Brafferton at basa . 25 metres out and playing in right back position , Matty hits an unstoppable shot with his left foot into the top corner across the keeper Goal C - Marc Adams v Otley Town away .
