CLAY

Clay gives a dry finish, creating seperation and texture in your style without looking shiny or greasy.

WAX

Varying  types available. Harder waxes are more heavy duty, great for thicker textured hair or for stronger definition.

Softer wax gives a lighter hold but has a sligtly greasier feel- great for on the ends of hair for definition.

GEL

Perfect to put through the hair and sculpt into a position that will stay. Look for a hard gel that doesn't flake.

PUTTY

Similar to wax but gives more of a matte finish, with a stronger hold. Great for texture.

MOUSSE

A much gentler hold, used for blow-drying as the hair is constantly rewound around the barrel of the brush. Leaves a delicately, shiny finish on smooth styles.

SETTING LOTION

As it's name suggests used in the heat setting process. As the hair dries around the roller or foam rod, with a gentle tension the hair 'sets' stiffly into the curved shape. The hair is then brushed to reveal lots of body and bounce. Lasts a good few days if kept perfectly dry.
