Scottish Beauty Show 2010

Have just returned from the annual Scottish Beauty at The Royal Highland Showground and stocked up on new and innovative products.
We were shown a new callous skin removal treatment which I have now added to my treatment menu - it actually dissolves a layer of hardened skin on the ball of the foot and the heel in just 10 minutes leaving fresh smooth skin.
I also visited CND's Fingertips centre open day and was interested to see the brand new Minx nails demonstrated, fantastic patterning for nails, developed from car stickers, the glues are heat sealed to adhere the designs to the nail plate for up to two weeks of normal wear. I bought tartan, black/white paisley, pink leopard and Zebra stripe designs among others.
The latest innovation in lacquer colour was also demonstrated - its called Shellac, and is applied as a nail varnish but cured for 2 minutes in the ultra violet lamp and promises 3 weeks of perfect wear on fingernails, 4 weeks on toes!
