All in All, I think Paul Reed Smith guitars are the best. My first was the 24 fret Anniversary model brought back from new York (later sold at a nice profit only to find out they are now worth double that!!). I had a soapbar, and a rare HSS, tried a Starla but settled uppn my Mira.
Top Tip buy a PRS, or at least try a PRS. Whether USA made of SE models they are great.

 PRS Standard 24 USa made I bought this great guitar in New York and had it a couple of years before selling it for much more than I paid (It was 11 month old when bought)Today it is worth a lot more. The Standard, now and then, is identical to the Custom save for a one-piece mahogany body instead of the maple/mahogany sandwich of the Custom and because the maple top of the Custom is so thick, the all-mahogany Standard not only looks but also sounds profoundly differently from an acoustic standpoint. The PRS Standard 24 brings players all of the quality and tone of a USA made PRS The body is solid mahogany for great tone and sustain. The 25 inch scale neck is mahogany with a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Hfs and Vintage Pick-ups dish out killer tones. A PRS trem and locking tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is Natural Walnut. |
