Silverwork Bench. It is here I work on Silver items. |
Mini Anvil. This is where I do the stamping designs on Viking jewellery using home brewed punches and a Brass hammer. |
Mini Forge and Anvil. A lot of items need forging and it is faster by far if you can hot forge them. It is outside so always some rust to rub of before work can proceed. The forge is 12" diameter. |
Copper bench. Here I do the Copper work, to keep it from away from the Silver as it could contaminate it and lead to assay rejection. |
Lapidary machines. These I use to cut and polish stone, an advantage as I do not have to design around available rounds, ovals etc and Ican make the item then cut the stones to fit. From left to right they are, Robilt combination unit, a home brewed wet grinder I made from junk and a 10" diamond slab saw. |
Flat lap and trimsaw. Two more home brews from the scrap heap, a flat lap to cut and polish rock specimens and a 4"trim saw fitted with a faceting blade.
Casting. Small furnace and other items used for casting. |
Tools to make tools. As the title says, some of the tools used to make jewellery tools and home brewed machines. |
