About Atalanta Art

I am James Alden This is is my site.

     The name Atalanta Art is derived from the Latin name for the Red Admiral Butterfly,Vanessa Atalanta,I use my artwork of this insect as my logo.

    The mediums I use range from Watercolour and Soft Pastel to Sterling Silver,Copper and Stone/Gemstone which I cut and polish to my requirements.I make many of the tools and machines I use as a lot of them are not available otherwise.

    I am self taught in the above mediums and others besides and as I consider these an art form I have added some, also some of the things connected to making them.
