Monymusk Bowls Club

What an enjoyable afternoon all round. We loved playing for such an appreciative audience, a combined group from the Monymusk Bowls Club and the Echt Afternoon Club (both of whom have asked us to play for them again and it would be a pleasure to do that)........and we've found a new and valuable member of the Alford Fiddlers, a real star with a wonderful voice! Moira Downie, Bob's very talented wife, who both sings with the voice of a lark and tells the most riotously funny stories I have ever heard. At one time I found myself laughing so much that tears were streaming down my face and I couldn't see the music for the next piece we were due to play. So well done Moira and thank you Bob for persuading her to come along. We hope that you will perform again soon (and I particularly enjoyed the duet Bothy Ballad, "The Garret").
