Yesterday Nathan's friend and ex-classmate Finn arrived back in Nova Scotia with his Mum and brother. Both boys are back for a week long hockey camp and are then renting an RV to explore into Quebec. Knowing that Nathan was heading away for French camp for a week, they came straight from the airport to drop off Finn for a sleep over so both boys could get as much time together as possible.
It was great fun having Finn staying over and this morning we all woke ourselves up with a long swim and kayak in the lake!
Here's a couple of pictures with Brendan getting in on the action:

Finn and his family are super keen to move back to Halifax, so hopefully that will fall in to place for them. Finn didn't want to leave the house this afternoon, however, the promise of some new hockey sticks seemed to do the trick!
Tomorrow we are heading off for a 2½ drive down to near Digby for Nathan's sleep-away French camp. He has some French Tin-Tin books to take, borrowed from the library, we need to re-find the French-English dictionary and it is probably best to sum it up by saying that Nathan is resigned to it! We're sure he'll enjoy it once he gets into the activities.
