This was us setting off from a snowy Nova Scotia yesterday morning.

It was a long day.  I drove for 12 hours non-stop with the only break a two hour enforced one at the border because the border computer system was down. We made great progress through NS, NB and the north of Maine but then we ran in to a major snow storm and drove at 30mph for 3 1/2 hours in next to no visibility.

Still we made it safely here to Portsmouth, New Hampshire at 9.30 last night.

We are ready to take on Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, etc today.  We have opted to drive through the cities so we at least see some of the sights.
