On Saturday we had another fun day of activities. Brendan was meant to be at a birthday party in the morning for two of his classmates (yes the birthday parties are now coming so thick and fast they are being doubled up!), he had quite a bit of a head cold, though, so despite his protests otherwise we decided that it wasn't really fair on the other party goers for him to attend and he really didn't have the energy to enjoy it. Thankfull we seem to be moving away from birthday party season now, so the weekends may start to become a little more normal.
In the afternoon Caraid had a singing recital with other students from her singing teacher. This was in a lovely church setting with a beautiful atmosphere.
Caraid's voice was a little croaky as she too had a bit of a sore throat, however, like the true performer she ensured that the show did go on! Here is some video of the recital:

On Sunday we had a great Father's Day where I was treated to some lovely presents from the children. We went to the Farmer's Market in the morning for a nice walk around, managed to find a supply of helium for Petal, the shark and then had a lovely afternoon gardening. Simple pleasures. There is nothing else to report - Euan.
