A couple of days ago we were enjoying the superb long weekend and were having fun out on the water in the kayaks.  Nathan was actually standing up on his, which he does not too badly at all!  That is, until he fell off.  Unfortunately he managed to hit against either the floating dock or (Nathan claims) a rock with his back and has a cracking war injury to prove it.  Caution, these pictures are not pretty!!

The "official" story is he got the scar while dueling to protect a lady's honour!
