Caraid is in the midst of the NS Kiwanis music festival.  On Thursday she came 4th for set piece and then this morning she was 2nd in Art Song and 1st in Italian!!  (She had an exceptionally high score in Italian too)  Here is a sneakily taken video of the performance:

Next week is the musical theatre competition.

Immediately after her success at Kiwanis it was off to the next event - she participated in the Canadian Red Cross Youth Leadership Conference on International Humanitarian Issues.  She loved it and met lots of really interesting new people.

All in all a very successful day!
