The rest of the week at Vero Beach was as busy - here's some photos:
On Wednesday morning Brendan and Caraid did some archery - Brendan claimed to have shot two birds!


Wednesday afternoon I went on a bike and hike up the Jungle Trail to Pelican Island which was the first wildlife preservation area in the US. It was amazing and well worth doing.

In fact it was so good that on Thursday morning I rented a bike again to cycle the Southern end of the Jungle Trail and Euan came along too:


This part of the trail is not so remote and we cycled past lots of expensive houses and boats, beside the Indian River:

We played lots of mini-golf, Brendan and I played table tennis, the children did more paper airplane building, Nathan did a scavenger hunt and Caraid made and decorated a beach sarong. We went out for a couple of lovely meals with our friends. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, beach and lots of sun, before we head back to a snowy Nova Scotia tomorrow.
