Today Caraid went to her French camp until Saturday.  It is about 90 minutes drive from here.  It is very like Bement - rustic, but looks like good fun.  After the first hour, when they go over the rules, everything must be done in French (even the novels they take to read - Caraid has taken Nathan's French Tintin comic books).  It's a Jewish camp and all the meals are kosher - Caraid is still a keen meat eater and is worried about the lack of pork.
