We're still enjoying the Canada Day weekend here in NS.  I decided to take Brendan to the local elementary school which has a large flat concrete area, so that he could learn to ride his bike (the others learned in Cullicudden Primary's playground).  When we got there though Brendan told me he 'always needs a break before he learns to ride a bike' i.e. he'd seen the play equipment.

Caraid had come with us to do some roller blading.  Nathan didn't want to leave the house if it meant wearing sunscreen.

Brendan did do very well though so tonight I told him we'd go again tomorrow, and his response was he'd probably need a two hour break tomorrow.

Then I decided to take Caraid on a bike ride on the St Margaret's Bay trail which was beautiful:

Caraid's stamina has really improved and I'm looking forward to doing longer rides with her.

Later we had the Wilson's over for a barbeque and Alex joined our children (and Euan!) in the lake.
