Today was Brendan's Senior Primary prizegiving ceremony - it was well worth coming back from Toronto a day early for.

There will be video - and as usual our youngest acted up for the cameras (his big brother would have been mortified)!  Here are some photos:

Brendan got his award for excellence in reading and math:

It was obvious that Brendan was not going to win any awards for art - he really dislikes art and a recent picture he drew consisted of a few black dots....a dalmation!  10/10 for clever thinking!  His favourite thing this year though was gym, which he loves.  Only last week he was in bother for teaching the other boys how to climb over the school fence.  Today, he was more impressed that his teacher described him as a Lego Master than with his award.

Here he is with the present from Ms Meagher - a bug book and poster with glow in the dark bugs which are already stuck around his room. Doesn't that child to his left with the glasses and long hair look at least....7 yrs old! Caraid came with me to the ceremony and reception as she is struggling to find things to occupy her time until she goes to Ottawa on Monday.  Her prize giving is on Thursday and Nathan's is tomorrow.
