No photos this time although we've had some beautiful weather.  We did some burning of the gardent last night before bonfires are banned on the 14th. 

Last week Brendan got his second Primes Medal - a high honour - this time for French!  He was very pleased with himself.  Nathan got another Primes Certificate - this time for his excellent time keeping and good organisational skills.

Brendan was one of two Senior Primary children selected to be on the Battle of the Books team for the final competition of the year.  I nearly missed it because it wasn't until a colleague asked why I wasn't leaving the office that I even realised it was on.  Brendan had mentioned something about it but was very low key about it all.  I was glad I did go though, because his team won!  Battle of the Books is not actually about hitting each other with books - it's questions on lots of books they've read.

Caraid has been trying to catch up with all her work now that the musical is over.  She now has the thought of studying for her end of year exams in about five weeks time.  Nathan's rehearsals have now started on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings for his musical - he is a Scottie dog in 101 Dalmations.

Nathan is also competing in the Kiwanis music festival tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes.  I'll try and fit in going to watch him compete but as I'm working full time right now, I may not manage.  Luckily the festival is held at Dalhousie so it's only a five minute walk.

Who knows, I may even take a photo or two!
