No, nothing to do with beer - I thought that's what Oktoberfest was, so I wondered how the girls high school were having a two day Oktoberfest (the mind boggled).  It's really just a different name for an extended Halloween - the girls dress up for two days, have fun, do not much work, etc.  Today's theme was disco - I didn't get a photo of Caraid in her clothes but she had lots of sparkle.  Here she is painting glitter acrylic paint onto a pair of bright pink jeans. 

She also borrowed a pair of five inch platform shoes from her friend Genevieve and fell over several times in the day.

Tomorrow's theme is the Wizard of Oz. Here's Caraid getting ready to be the Wicked Witch of the West - complete with witches cat:

Tomorrow Nathan and Brendan have their Hallowe'en celebrations.  The elementary school parades past the Barat Residence so the Sisters can watch, then they each have class parties.

Here is Nathan trying on his Ninja costume (yes, Nathan is doing Hallowe'en this year).  Brendan was going to be a Power Ranger but since seeing his brother's costume, now fancies being a Ninja too.
