They don't do this in Scotland - today we went to a Pumpkin Regatta in Windsor, supposedly home of the biggest pumpkins in the world.

Here's how it works:

1.  Find a giant pumpkin and hollow it out...

2. Decorate pumpkin...

3. Find a tractor to put the pumpkin in the water...

4. Get into the pumpkin...

5. Row...

There was even a Japanese film crew there and I can imagine them introducing the broadcast as 'look what the Canadians do for fun!'  It was definitely worth watching though and the loudest cheers were of course for the pumpkins that sunk half way across the lake.
