We arrived safely in Orlando after a very bumpy flight from Halifax to Philadelphia. So far the holiday has been fine, if a catalogue of events. Before we even got out of the airport our car was hit by a massive truck (still not my fault!) but luckily we are all OK. When we arrived at the house, the air conditioning didn't seem to be working and it was hot and humid. Then the phone line went dead and the ice machine stopped working. The night before last I woke at 1am to a flooded porch and lounge floor and when we opened the door to the garage next morning it was flooded too - yep, the air conditioning had definitely broken and the water had got into all the wiring, hence the phone not working. Still things are improving, the air conditioning has been fixed temporarily and hopefully will last a few more months before the whole system needs renewed, the phone guy has just left and the phone's working now and we also have ice again!
Last night we braved Epcot (Disney in the summer is just so awful!!) to go and meet Iona, her mum and dad and 4 year old niece Sadie. We met them at the Canada pavilion - had to be done! On Friday we are all going to Turkey Lake Park so the children can visit the farm, play at the playpark, scooter and we'll also have a picnic.
Here are some photos from yesterday:

Just a cool picture of some clouds:

Epcot is really just about Japan!:
