Today was Caraid's graduation from elementary school and Prize Day for both Caraid and Nathan.  This is a video clip of the Grade 6 song - I wish I'd left it running longer though because just after I stopped filming, one by one the other years joined in and it was just beautiful.  Caraid is in the front row of the Grade 6s on the far right hand side.

Both children got merit certificates - Caraid for science and Nathan for reading and both for contributing to discussions.  Nathan was also recognised for having achieved a high score in the Canadian national maths challenge and Caraid recieved a medal for her participation in band.

It was very difficult to get any video or photos at the ceremony as all the children were on one level which made it almost impossible to see either of ours. Here is one of Nathan - not a great one though - he is third from front in the line in the middle of the picture.

Here is a photo of Caraid outside the school though, on her last day in elementary and one of her in the garden showing off her band medal.  Another great day and the weather is obliging for the start of the holidays too - plenty of sun and temperatures in the high twenties.
