Today Brendan graduated from Junior Primary and he moves into the Elementary school after the summer holidays. It was a lovely closing ceremony that the children put together. Brendan was a wee star - the only child to do a solo, but apparently he was determined to do it! He was full of confidence (hands in pockets even, as he gets into it) and the falling backwards into the curtain at the end is classic. He got an award for 'enthusiasm in writing', which is true - his reading and writing has progressed so quickly and he loves it. He also was given a teddy bear and a 'name a star', which is a lovely idea.

And this is Caraid - she had her shirt signed by everyone and that black bin bag is the contents of her locker after only four months! I'm dreading what it will be like next year when she is there a whole year and has two lockers (although high school girls do get locker inspections and demerits if they are not tidy - that will be a major challenge)
