We've just had a really busy week because the end of term is fast approaching.  Last Sunday, Caraid had her Neptune theatre show:

Actually, Brendan rather stole the show though because after the introduction, the audience were asked if anyone had any questions or anything they wanted to say.  Before we could stop him, Brendan had his hand up.  The director then said the little blonde one had something to say and asked him to go ahead.  Brendan said clear as anything in front of the audience 'why did the chicken cross the road?'  I was dreading the punchline but it was 'to get to the other side' - phew!!

This week the Grade 2/3 school musical, Once Upon a Lily Pad was on.  Nathan auditioned and got the part of a snake in it - I was honestly amazed at the standard of what they produced.  Nathan loved participating and is really keen to audition for the senior one next year. Last night Caraid was in the Senior elementary school musical, The Aristocats.  It too was of a very high standard and it's run finishes tomorrow.  Caraid was one of the Gabble Girls - Abigail, a goose (the smaller one in the video/photo), and she actually really enjoyed playing a comic role for all she wasn't sure at first.  She also took part in the chorus playing one of the dogs (in the video she's the one with the long hair in the middle).
