Brendan was on CBC Radio 1 yesterday morning!!  Another wee star.

His class had written a poem about spring for a competition and the radio visited their class to record that and them singing their 'spring' song.  It was so cute - he had one line by himself and of course the accent stood out.  We listened to it while we were driving in to school in the morning and he was amazed and so happy to hear himself.  He was jumping up and down saying 'I'm a pop star, I'm a pop star' - it should have been 'poetry star' but as far as he's concerned anyone on the radio must be a pop star. What was also amazing was Granny listened in from Scotland in real time online.

The national music therapy conference is taking place in Halifax just now - the first time it has been held in Halifax, so it is very exciting but taking up a lot of time, late nights and very early mornings (even earlier than our usual 6am starts!).  Today Caraid came along to hear one of the speakers who has done lots of work with disadvantaged children in South Africa.  She was so amazing and yet such a down to earth person to talk to.  It really is well worth having a quick glance at her bio - http://www.sharonkatz.com/bio%20page/bio.html.  Caraid is still busy with all her activities and Nathan has completed his country project on Wales and is now preparing for his presentation on Monday.   Hard to believe there are only five weeks left before the summer holidays!
