Tonight was the Kingswood Ratepayers Association AGM - it was really interesting finding out all what development is being planned around us. We also found out which roads the bears and coyotes are frequenting - we even have a bear cub along the road, which sounds cute so long as it stays along the road. We really do have to prepare the children more for what to do when/if they see a bear or coyote (and the answer is not to run!). The community has one major problem though - it has $300,000 sitting in the bank and they need to spend it. That money is then matched by the province and federal government, so equates to almost £1m to spend. A nice problem to have....
I didn't take any photos at the meeting but there has been a request for more information on what Euan is doing - so I've taken a photo of what I found him doing when I came home....talking to his friend John in Newfoundland on Skype.
