A fantastic Easter day! Euan and I went to the 5.30am sunrise service at Church. It began outside around a firepit and continued inside by candlelight until the sun came up - it was very peaceful.
Then we came home to check if the Easter bunny had visited, which of course he had, so it was chocolate for breakfast.
At 10am we all went to the Family Service at Church - it was absolutely packed which was lovely to see. It was a very lively and joyous service which was a nice contrast to the more tranquil earlier one.
In the afternoon we went to a local farm where they hide over 10,000 Easter eggs that the children hunt for. It was great fun. It's been another beautiful day here which made it so much better.
We're all exhausted this evening but it was a wonderful day.
