We went to our first ice hockey game the other night (Nathan's second) - it was great.  It was a charity game between two teams of firefighters so they had the fire engines and a pipe band there too.  It's a great game to watch - it doesn't go on too long and is extremely fast so it's interesting to follow.  I'd been given free tickets from some of my work and we thought that was a good way to try it out, but we would now pay to see another game.  At the end the referee came over to Nathan and gave him the puck they used in the game which he was thrilled about - he then went and found another one for Brendan.

The weather has stayed really sunny and warm - it is beautiful.  These photos were taken this morning, trying out the floating dock.  You can see how clear the lake is and that the ice is now receding.  If this keeps up we might get the canoe in the lake soon!
