Another busy day - Euan's birthday, not that we were able to make much of that.  The day was again filled - Church this morning - but we had to allow an hour to get there because the snow was really deep and there was no grit or snowplow on the road.  The congregation had a farewell party for us after the service which was lovely - everyone signed a table runner.  Despite the fact that it was the Nativity and Nathan was Joseph and Brendan a wise man (he did love twirling about in his robes!) the only photo Euan has of the event is this:

Yes, last time I play piano (with two pairs of gloves on ) at Cromarty.  After that we went to the Holm's to say goodbye and Caraid and Kirsty got soaked playing in the snow.  We then drove 30 miles to Inverness Airport to pick up our hire car only to find them closed - a wee bit of snow and the country shuts down!  we were supposed to go to the Shirvani's for a last Persian dinner though but their road was impassible so maybe in the next couple of days....

Tomorrow the removers arrive and we're still not ready!
