It was wonderful to hear from former campaigners this year as well. We pay tribute to "Adam" and "Fleeced" Chas, OM hostage, Mercy, Jacq, Trevor and all others for their dedication.
This has been another tough year for Firstport. They continue to make losses and they are still struggling under a mountainof debt. Their financial position was not helped by having to pay out £600,000 as a result of the Gibson Court fire
In addition a considrable number of staff were let go in the last year(with more due to go in 2018)
It is true that they have won some development management contracts (from developers/freeholders) but this was due in a large part by quoting unrealistic management fees that are simply not sustainable.
They have however lost a considerable number of developments and have been forced into humiliating climbdowns in order to settle court actions.
More and more "scams" have been uncovered and further revelations will hit Firstport in the new year.
