To stem losses caused by poor administration Firstport are taking steps to make them more efficient.

Before the sudden and unexpected departure of Ouda Saleh( the Firstport Finance Director) whose departure came shortly before Firstport accounts are published, it was realised that Firstport were having to "write off" considerable amounts of money, due to poor administrative processes that meant that when they lost yet another development management contract they failed to inform contractors that they no longer managed the development and consequently had to pay them for work they were still undertaking on behalf of Firstport.
As has rather amusingly been reported elsewhere, such is the rate of loss of developments, that Retirement Homesearch (the sales division of Firstport) sent representatives to several developments that were regularly visited to generate sales, not realising that those developments were no longer managed by Firstport!
