Quantum Compliance/Firstport

Though trading as Quantum Compliance, in reality they actually are Quantum Risk Management and should not be confused with Quantum Compliance Services that was liquidated in 2014, or Quantum Compliance that was set up a few months after the liquidation by the same director at the same address.

Set up in 2003 after one of the director's company's that offered risk assesment services was liquidated, they ran up several years of losses until they finally began to be profitable in 2010.

Quote taken from the Quantum Compliance website:

"WE HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH FIRSTPORT SINCE 2010"

It may of course be a sheer coincidence, but at the very time Firstport (known as Peverel in 2010) were about to collapse into administration and needed every penny of revenue they could generate to survive week by week(at the height of the price fixing scandal) a loss making company happens along that can greatly influence revenue streams for the company appointing them and in the very same year of appointment Quantum Compliance finally turns a profit.

According to Quantum Compliance they have achieved savings of 50 % for Firstport by combining Heralth & Safety and Fire Risk assesments.

Residents who have had a survey carried out by Quantum Compliance should verify as to whether these savings have been passed on or have Firstport charged for two separate assesments?

It is of some concern to About Peverel that Quantum Compliance claim to have "Negotiated with enforcement bodies to minimise formal enforcement eg fire officer in relation to the adequacy of the means of escape within a purpose built building"

Equally disturbing is the claim taken from the Quantum Compliance website that"

"Our team comprises highly competent Health & Safety and Fire Saftey experts with backgrounds in enforcement and consultancy.

MANY OF OUR CONSULTANTS ARE TRAINED, QUALIFIED ACROSS MORE THAN ONE DISCIPLINE.

And with that "get out" clause, that implies that some of the assesments have been carried out by people not qualified to carry out the assesments.
