Elderly Resident In The Brigg House(Thanks to Firstport)
It has been reported that an elderly resident has been trapped in his flat, unable to get out for more than a month due to the failure of the lift at the development situated in Brigg, Lincolnshire.
Frustrated by the poor response of the managing agent, the resident contacted his local paper The Scunthorpe Telegraph who prominantly featured the resident's plight.
A spokesman for the management company said "This has been a complex repair with a specialist part required from Switzerland"
Residents currently pay around 200 pounds per month in service charges to Firstport.
