Firstport Set To Turn On Former Employees

Firstport has substantially reduced the number of people they employ over the past few years.

In part this has ben due to the advance of technology, in part poor trading and in part due to the sheer number of developments lost to Right To Manage actions.

A number of Firstport staff have been encouraged to work from home.

To be able to do this Firstport paid for broadband connections to be installed at the employees house, which is only right and proper.

However, many of those employees have left the employ of Firstport, and now of course Firstport don't want to pay the broadband contract charges and are demanding repayment from the former workers.

A number of them already very unhappy with the way Firstport treated them have declined to pay.

About Peverel make no comment on the rights and wrongs of this situation, but would like to warn those former employees that Firstport are preparing to engage  some very ruthless debt collection agencies to act against them.

Current Firstport employees who work from home should take note, that one day in the future they could also face the same problems. Those that work from home need to take care.

Whilst leaseholders are well used to being deceived by Firstport, About Peverel readily acknowledge that Firstport deceive their staff as well!
