A Sad Day Remembered ,Aberfan
50 years ago on a normal day children and teachers were attending the Pantglas Junior School. Suddenly and without warning they were engulfed by a collapsing coal slurry tip.
Within a few seconds 116 children and 28 teachers lost their lives.
On behalf of everyone at About Peverel and all contributors and readers, we send our heartfelt sympathy to all that suffered and continue to suffer.
