They systematically wrecked the development.
I bought a studio apartment as an investment.
At one point there were no services at all.
The council had to intervene as the grass was three feet high.
The back door was rotten and falling apart, lights uncovered, drainpipes cracked.
The outside wall was filthy white and looked like a cowshed.
Leaseholders had to replace the carpet and paint the walls themselves.
