McCarthy & Stone Fined
Following two incidents involving partial collapses of a crane at a McCarthy & Stone development in Saffron Walden, Essex, which could have easily caused multiple deaths Mcarthy & Stone have now been fined a total of 97,000 pounds for their breaches of Health and Safety.
This is not a good time for McCarthy & Stone, as concerns are being raised as to resale valuations, the number of completions is falling (put down to Brexit) and their valuation has fallen from 1.367 billion to around 800m in the past year.
