Electricity Bills
About Peverel admit this is not "current" news, but it may assist those in dispute with Peverel/Firstport concerning electricity bills.
in the case of Edward Square v OM (Peverel/Firstport) a claim for 583.22 electricity charges was dismissed as OM could not produce the invoice. OM suggested that as they could not produce the invoice (though they assured the tribunal it was accurate) they would deduct 30% from the non-existant invoice to settle the matter.
Always make sure you have an invoice (otherwise it is non payable) and always ask if Peverel/Firstport receive any commission or contribution to expenses from the power company?
