RB has received a letter from a law firm retained by Peverel/Firstport.
As is to be expected Peverel/Firstport are trying to use this letter to take the heat off Chris Owens by stopping any communications from RB .
The law firm state that as there is no need to communicate with Peverel/Firstport all correspondence should be addressed to them instead.
RB is entitled to communicate with whoever he chooses. A law firm does not make that decision for him.
RB has suggested that Chris Owens and Peverel/Firstport have committed offences under the 2006 Fraud Act.
Given the history About Peverel has very strong grounds to believe that this is indeed the case.
Oddly the letter received by RB which contains a denial of any such charge, is couched in a very subtle manner.
You might expect an emphatic denial, but not not in this letter.
"Our counsel has advised our client that he does not consider that either Firstport or its employees have committed a fraudelent act within the meaning of the Fraud Act" Not exactly a ringing defence is it?
At the beginning of RB's struggles, About Peverel were horrified by the conduct of Peverel/Firstport towards him.
We said right at the start that About Peverel stood shoulder to shoulder with RB.
We meant it then.We mean it now.
