Change Of Tactics Worries Peverel/Firstport

It appears a change of tactics increasingly employed by hard pressed residents are beginning to bear fruit.

Rather than taking, or threatening legal action against Peverel/Firstport by itself, residents are now prepared to name Peverel/Firstport employees as part of their action.

Recent cases have demonstrated that by naming people such as Paul Lester and Chris Owens, has rather concentrated their minds on the situation they have found themselves in, especially as naming individuals in any action prevents them from deflecting the blame onto someone else.

In any dispute with Peverel/Firstport, involve Paul Lester and Chris Owens, so that they cannot plead ignorance.

Should it be that Peverel/Firstport are taking a resident to court, there are effective ways to defend any action.

Require Peverel/Firstport to disclose a contract to manage to the court.

Require Peverel/Firstport to disclose the assent of the landlord/freeholder to commence action to the court.

Where costs are included in any claim  (such as legal fees demanded by JB.Leitch),

apply to the court to have the disputed amount of the claim (service charges for example) separated from the legal fees.
