Another Leaseholder Association Launch!

For those wondering what ever happened to the Leaseholder Association, they are having a launch in Southampton. Presumably they wre "itchen" to "Test" the market,(a local Southampton joke foks).

This time, they are concentrating on attracting members from the Southampton area, before they attempt to expand.

Since this is the area that Peverel/Firstport and Freemont ae based this makes sense, as does a launch from the port that the Titanic sailed from.

In essence for a £150 for the lifetime of the ownership of a property(when you move you pay again) you are given advice about your rights as a leaseholder (which is already freely available). If you have a dispute with your managing agent/ freeholder the Leaseholder Association may intervene and help mediate the dispute on a strictly confidential basis.

That confidentiality would be music to the ears of companies like Peverel/Firstport.

That so many deceptions have continued for so long is because of confidentiality.

Why else would Peverel/Firstport be so keen on getting cheated residents to sign Tomlin Orders, or agree a settlement in return for confidentiality?

In a change for the Leaseholder Association, they now helpfully suggest that a purchaser asks the seller to fund the £150 membership.

Imagine Peverel/Firstport paying the £150? How would that be as a condlict of interest?

Before signing up to the Leaeholder Association, it might be providential to ask if any director of the Leaseholder Association has ever served a ban from holding any directorships?
