A further Warning Over Freemont

Freemont Property Managers who are run by ex Peverel managers, some of whom were instrumental  in the fradulent activity associated with Peverel, are targeting Peverel/Firstport managed developments to gain new management contracts.

In some instances they will suggest that leaseholders need not go down the right to manage route, as an easier option to change managing agents, is simply to ask the landlord to change? This is especially the case if the freeholder is Fairhold/Proxima/ Peverel Properties or other E&M connected companies.

If you are already managed by Peverel/Firstport this is very likely.

Of course, what they might accidentally fail to tell you is that the management of Freemont property Managers  have shared a very close relationship with those freeholders(in some cases they were even directors of the freeholders)

As Peverel management they worked hand- in- glove to systematically cheat residents and divert resident funds to the freeholding companies, as they sought to service massive debts.

After the administration, the freeholding and managing companies were separated, meaning the funds flowing to the freeholders was cut off.

The only way of increasing income for the freeholders is to encourage a "friendly" managing agent to be appointed.

Enter Freemont Property Managers, whose directors were happily complicit in activities not compatible with honesty or resident interests.

For any residents contemplating the appointment of Freemont Property Managers should ask the following:

Who did they originally work for?

Have they had any connections with the freeholders?

Are they on a list of freeholder approved managing agents?

Have they ever been asked or have they volunteered to contribute to freeholder expenses?

Have they published accounts?

Are they members of ARMA?
