In what can only be described as an atrocious and disgraceful abuse of her position, With the support of her area manager, Dee Sterley, a Peverel/Firstport House Manager and Training Manager (whose conduct would not disgrace FIFA) has without warning or consultation issued a proclomation that for 5 days residents could not use their communal lounge as it was to be used for staff training.
The communal lounge is for the use of residents. After all, they have paid for it and it is part and parcel of their home.
Closing a lounge for decorations is understandable. Closing a lounge for staff training is not!. Dee Sterley has many questions to answer. Is this yet another example of a House Manager believing her development is part of her personal empire and believing that due to lack of senior management control, she can do what she wants, when she wants and never will be called to account?
