For those that have newly come upon this site, you are very welcome.
This site is run by volunteers who freely give up their time. They were victims of abusive practices carried out in the name of leasehold, particularly by the Peverel Group of companies. It was decided some years ago, that the only way to fight back was to create a "support network" to share stories, to give advice and to investigate the sharp practices of Peverel. Many have found it to be a great comfort to know they are not alone, and have been encouraged by the successes of leaseholders against Peverel, but just as important have learnt from leaseholder defeats , so that, mistakes are avoided by others in their quest for justice.
One of the original groups was called The Truth About Solitaire (who every leaseholder owes a great debt of gratitude) This took its name from Solitaire (a Peverel Group company). Another support group was named Peverel Action, which became About Peverel.
Other groups such as CARLEX and Leasehold Knowledge Partnership, also exist to help and do a tremendous job.
Please feel free to post any problems with Peverel you may have. We can't solve every problem, but there are many people out their, who have been Peverel victims and want to help.
